Hold onto your chimichangas, Marvel fans! The much-anticipated “Deadpool & Wolverine” hit theaters on July 26 and has already raked in a staggering $600 million worldwide. Directed by Shawn Levy, this blockbuster brings together Ryan Reynolds as the wisecracking Merc with a Mouth and Hugh Jackman as the gruff Wolverine for an epic collaboration. The stellar cast also features Emma Corrin, Morena Baccarin, Rob Delaney, Karan Soni, Leslie Uggams, and Matthew MacFadyen.
Set six years after the events of “Deadpool 2,” our favorite anti-hero Wade Wilson is living a peaceful, retired life. However, peace never lasts for long in the Marvel universe. The Time Variance Authority ropes Wade back into action, leading him to team up with none other than Wolverine. If you haven’t hit the theaters yet, you’re in for one wild ride.
Curious about where you can stream “Deadpool & Wolverine”? While it’s distributed by Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures, don’t expect to catch it on Netflix. Disney acquired 21st Century Fox in 2019, bringing the X-Men and Fantastic Four characters under its umbrella. Consequently, the latest Deadpool installment will land on Disney+. Although the exact streaming date hasn’t been announced, expect it sometime between October and November, if Disney sticks to its usual release gap.
For now, the only way to witness this dynamic duo in action is to grab some popcorn and head to your local cinema. The movie has an exclusive theatrical run, so theaters are your best bet.
