While strolling down Main Street, U.S.A., toward Sleeping Beauty Castle at Disneyland park, look to your left – just past the Emporium – and you’ll find the Fortuosity Shop, with a large bronze clock hanging above its doorway. Designed in Queen Anne style, this charming boutique is located between the New Century Jewelry shop and Carnation Cafe at the corner of West Center Street.
Many of the locations on Main Street, U.S.A., like the Candy Palace and Penny Arcade, have changed over the years, examples of the idea that Disneyland will never be complete. And Fortuosity Shop has seen its share of changes as well. Before the debut of the Fortuosity Shop in 2008, this location was once home to the Upjohn Pharmacy in the early days of Disneyland park and New Century Timepieces in later years. Believe it or not, when the Upjohn Pharmacy occupied this corner, it was themed as an 1890s apothecary, complete with live leeches!
While you can still find watches here, you can also find boutique-style clothing including fashionable scarves, purses and accessories, making it a must-visit for any Disney fashionista with an appreciation for style.
On your next visit, be sure to take a look around as this shop is lined with eclectic decor that changes with the seasons. If you stop by the Fortuosity Shop during Halloween Time at the Disneyland Resort, you’re bound to find a flock of frightful friends perched around this spot!
