Every Role a Starring Role – Disneyland Resort Red Car Trolley Conductor

Ding! Ding! All aboard for this “Every Role a Starring Role” featuring Travis Dean, a Red Car Trolley conductor at Disney California Adventure park. For four years now, the Red Car Trolleys have taken guests on a scenic ride from Buena Vista Street to Hollywood Land, inspired by the historic Pacific Electric Railway.

Travis’ responsibilities include initiating a trolley’s movement, switching the cabling of a trolley to change directions and providing detailed information to guests about the sights and sounds of the surrounding area. Travis also communicates with cast members aboard the other trolley.
In this video, Travis tells us more about his role and these retro and leisurely trolleys, similar to the ones Roy and Walt Disney may have experienced when they first arrived in Los Angeles!
