Introducing the “Disney Destiny,” an all-new cruise ship set to sail to the Bahamas and Western Caribbean come November 2025. “Like Loki, the next Disney Cruise Line ship is destined for a glorious purpose,” The Walt Disney Company teases. From jaw-dropping character experiences to immersive environments, the Disney Destiny aims to bring the Marvel Universe to life in unprecedented ways. Imagine walking through spaces dedicated to your favorite Marvel heroes like Black Panther and Spider-Man, or stepping into a creatively designed Avengers-themed venue that celebrates their larger-than-life personalities.
Beth Burkhardt, a Disney Imagineer and creative director for the ship, gave Eyewitness News an exclusive first look. Adult-only retreats and kid-specific marvels alike will captivate passengers of all ages. One particularly enticing adult space is a Cruella DeVille-themed piano lounge—perfect for an evening of elegant, yet wickedly fun, relaxation.
Brian Crosby, an executive in Marvel Experiences Development, couldn’t contain his excitement. “The heroes and villains theme of the Disney Destiny provides the perfect platform for us to collaborate with Disney Cruise Line on all-new, Marvel-inspired experiences guests won’t find anywhere else on land or at sea across the multiverse,” he said. “We’re honoring our classic heroes and creating one-of-a-kind venues. This will be a must-do for all true believers!”
Starting its journey from Port Everglades in Fort Lauderdale, bookings for Disney Destiny are set to open this September. Make sure to mark your calendars so you don’t miss out on this extraordinary adventure!
