Jim Cramer, the charismatic host of “Mad Money,” recently shared some exciting insights about The Walt Disney Company (NYSE:DIS) that have fans and investors buzzing. The question on everyone’s lips: Is Disney a strong buy over $100? Well, Cramer believes the answer is a resounding “yes.”
Speaking at Nvidia’s annual GTC event, Cramer elaborated on how some opportunities are so monumental that minor details like earnings per share or potential buybacks might seem trivial. He used the example of Nvidia’s future-focused technology driving industry-wide transformation to illustrate his point. Cramer noted, “Notice I said if other companies embrace it, not you, not the consumer, and that’s hard to bring light. We’ve gotten used to consumer-oriented tech conferences for years.”
Cramer highlighted a critical shift in focus from consumer tech to enterprise solutions, underscoring how businesses, rather than individuals, are the main drivers of technological advancement. He added that while this might pose a communication challenge, it ultimately leads to bigger payoffs. “The enterprise is much bigger than the consumer, so it’ll produce much bigger earnings per share,” he explained.
Replying to questions from the audience, Cramer did not hold back his enthusiasm for Disney. “Oh, Disney. I love Disney,” he said emphatically. “Over $100, it’s, I’m still buy, buy, buy Disney.” As a titan in film and TV production, streaming services, and theme parks, Disney continues to capture both hearts and wallets worldwide, making it a staple in Cramer’s portfolio picks.
Interestingly, while Disney holds a strong position, Cramer and many hedge funds are also eyeing the spectacular potential in AI stocks. For those looking to diversify their portfolio with promising AI investments, Cramer assured there are stocks with considerable upside, often offering lucrative opportunities at much lower earnings multiples.
