Get Ready for a Magical Adventure: Disney Branded Television Unveils New Animated Lineup

Disney Branded Television announced a dazzling slate of new and returning animated shows at the Annecy International Animated Film Festival, celebrating four decades of enchanting storytelling. Among the highlights are fresh series like “Disney Jr.’s Ariel,” “Marvel’s Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur: Moon Girl’s Lab,” and “SuperKitties: Sup-Purr Adventures,” along with cherished favorites returning for new seasons.

“Disney Branded Television is proud of our four-decade legacy of creating magical and visually stunning animation beloved by young audiences around the world,” expressed Ayo Davis, President of DBT, reflecting on the milestone anniversary. Davis emphasized the festival as the perfect stage to unveil these exciting new projects that will usher Disney into a new era of storytelling.

“Prep & Landing: The Snowball Protocol,” a 22-minute special, dives back into the misadventures of our favorite high-tech holiday elves. Premiering next year, the special features Wayne trying to fix holiday missions gone awry, piling up joyous mishaps reminiscent of past merry blunders.

Marvel fans, brace yourselves! “Marvel’s Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur: Moon Girl’s Lab” takes center stage with eight new short-form episodes. Featuring GRAMMY Award-winner Raphael Saadiq’s catchy tunes, the series will debut on Disney Channel and Disney+ on June 28. It’s a feast of lively science lessons wrapped in superhero adventures.

For our younger adventurers, “SuperKitties: Sup-Purr Adventures” premieres on August 7 on Disney Jr. and Disney Channel, and on Disney+ a day later. Bitsy and her amazing feline friends return with heartwarming tales promoting kindness and teamwork.

“Big City Greens” returns for a fifth season, bringing more delightful antics with Cricket Green and his family. The show’s new movie, “Big City Greens the Movie: Spacecation,” is available now on Disney+.

In a galaxy not so far away, “Star Wars: Young Jedi Adventures” debuts its second season on Disney+ and Disney Jr. on August 14. Expect another round of thrilling escapades with Kai Brightstar and Lys Solay.

And the big reveal? The spectacular “Disney Jr.’s Ariel” introduces us to an eight-year-old Ariel immersed in underwater adventures, premiering on June 27 on Disney Jr., with episodes available on Disney+ the next day.
