Hold onto your lightsabers, Disney fans! The Force is strong in the latest update from our friends in a galaxy far, far away. The highly anticipated second season of “Star Wars: Young Jedi Adventures” will premiere on Disney+ and Disney Jr. on August 14.
Set during the High Republic era—200 years before “The Phantom Menace”—this LucasFilm original animated series follows the thrilling journeys of Jedi younglings Kai Brightstar, Lys Solay, and Nubs. From mastering the Force to helping citizens and creatures across the galaxy, they’re not just learning how to be Jedi; they’re learning essential life lessons, too.
Season two promises even more cosmic adventures and heartwarming moments. Joining Kai, Lys, and Nubs is Master Zia’s new Padawan, Wes Vinik, along with his loyal astromech, RO-M1. The young Jedi will face off against the ever-menacing Ganguls, who’ve been ramping up their pirate ranks, adding an extra layer of excitement to their missions. From exploring new planets to making new friends, it’s a season brimming with action and valuable lessons.
Showrunner and executive producer Michael Olson couldn’t contain his excitement: “We’re thrilled to invite fans of Kai, Lys, Nubs, and Nash back to the galaxy far, far away with Season 2 of ‘Star Wars: Young Jedi Adventures.’ This season, our heroes face thrilling challenges, welcome spirited Padawan Wes Vinik and a new class of younglings to Tenoo, and reunite with friends from across the galaxy. Together, they’ll learn important lessons about friendship, compassion, and overcoming fears. This heartfelt and action-packed season will be a thrilling ride, and we can’t wait to share it with you.”
