Stage Nine Entertainment is set to host “Tiki Week: A Celebration of Disney Polynesian Culture” starting Monday, June 17, culminating in a spectacular event on Saturday, June 22.
This week-long celebration promises to be an immersive experience with tropical and oceanic music filling the air and exclusive Polynesian-themed merchandise available, including T-shirts, apparel, and specialty mugs. It’s the perfect time to don your best tiki attire and get into the spirit of the islands!
The grand event on Saturday, June 22, features a lineup of special guests certain to thrill Disney enthusiasts. Meet Disney historian and former Disneyland Jungle Cruise skipper David “Dr. Skipper” Marley, musician and comedian King Kukulele, and Disney Fine Art Artist Beau Hufford, renowned for his tiki-inspired artistry. From 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., guests can dive into the wonders of Walt Disney’s enchanted Tiki Room, explore rare Disneyland Tiki Room artifacts, and enjoy sketching sessions and meet-and-greets upstairs in the Vault Art Gallery.
Additionally, Stage Nine’s retail stores will remain open from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., and a refreshing shaved ice food truck will be stationed outside on K Street, adding a cool treat to your tropical adventure.
