As the spooky season inches closer, The Walt Disney Company is conjuring a bit of its signature magic to brighten the lives of seriously ill children and their families. This Halloween, Disney has announced a heartfelt initiative to ensure hospitalized kids experience the joy of the season.

“Nobody does Halloween like Disney. And as part of our commitment to children’s hospitals, Disney is launching a brand-new program for this Halloween season,” shared Patrick Sager with On The Red Carpet. For each costume purchased at Disneystore.com, Disney will donate one costume to the Starlight Children’s Foundation.

Disney’s commitment is grand, aiming to donate up to 20,000 costumes. The selection is vast, featuring costumes for both adults and kids, including adaptive outfits, wheelchair ramps, covers, and sensory-friendly options. “We really hope everybody can go out and trick or treat this holiday season,” Sager said, embodying Disney’s inclusive spirit.

“Providing these costumes to children in hospitals across the country is important. It gives them a moment of Halloween joy when they might not be able to go out and trick or treat,” Sager emphasized. Indeed, these magical makings underscore Disney’s dedication to spreading joy and wonder, especially where it’s needed most.
