Announced recently, the Disney Destiny will feature “Pride Lands: Feast of The Lion King,” a dining experience that brings the iconic songs and moments of Disney’s beloved animated classic to life. Guests will be transported to the savannas of Africa, surrounded by captivating depictions of animals and nature enhanced by state-of-the-art lighting and special effects. Live musicians and storytellers will serenade diners with beloved tunes like “Circle of Life” and “Hakuna Matata,” while innovative mash-ups such as “I Just Can’t Wait to Be King” and “Be Prepared” will highlight the show’s epic hero-villain dynamic.
But that’s not all! For those with a sweet tooth and a love for Pixar, “Edna Á La Mode Sweets” will be the destination for delectable treats inspired by The Incredibles. This whimsical sweet shop will draw inspiration from the Auntie Edna short film, transforming Edna Mode’s modern sewing lab into a candy wonderland. Expect to find an array of delightful confections including handmade gelato, ice cream, cookies, and more, all prepared with the flair and unpredictability of Jack-Jack’s baby powers.
Adding to the culinary adventure, the Disney Destiny will also feature “Cafe Megara,” an eatery inspired by Hercules, complete with “Greco disco” designs and nods to the gods of Mount Olympus, and “Cafe Merida,” a Celtic-themed venue paying homage to the fierce heroine from Brave, featuring mystical touches like will-o’-the-wisps-themed lights.
