Exciting news from the world of Disney and Fortnite! As Fortnite wraps up its thrilling “Pirates of the Caribbean” quest line, fans won’t have to wait long for more magical adventures. Epic Games and Disney have just announced a new epic crossover as Chapter 5, Season 3 comes to a close.
This Saturday, during an exclusive Horizons: Disney Experiences Showcase live in Fortnite, Disney Parks, Experiences and Products chairman Josh D’Amaro will share some game-changing updates. Set your reminders because this event promises to be big. For those who tune in to the live stream for at least 10 minutes, there’s a special treat in store: players will earn XP and unlock the adorable Peelverine Plush Back Bling, which will be available in September. Miss the live event? Don’t worry! A rewatch will be available on loop until Aug. 16.
This weekend’s Disney Horizons Live presentation is poised to be the most significant update since Disney invested a whopping $1.5 billion in Epic Games back in February. As part of this massive investment, we were promised an expansive “Disney universe” within Fortnite. The crossover already boasts a star-studded lineup featuring characters such as Captain Jack Sparrow, Jack Skellington, Black Widow, Deadpool, and Wolverine. Additionally, Disney has incorporated characters from Marvel, “Star Wars,” “Futurama,” and many other popular franchises. The game has also enjoyed partnerships with brands like Lego, “Dragon Ball Z,” and even celebrity collaborations with Ariana Grande and Lady Gaga.
With Chapter 5, Season 3 – Wrecked ending on Aug. 15, fans are eagerly anticipating what’s next. The new season is expected to kick off on Aug. 16.
