For my friends at Chapel Hats, January 15th is one of the very best days of the year. For everyone else, it might be just another Sunday, but it doesn’t have to be – we can all celebrate National Hat Day, and I can’t think of a better place to do it than at Chapel Hats at Disney Springs.
I connected directly with store manager Marsha Emerson to get some firsthand insights into what makes Chapel Hats so special.
With a modern twist on a traditional haberdashery, the location carries over 2,000 hats with something for everyone – classic fedoras, popular Ivy styles, casual baseball caps, and even a few handmade leather steam punk hats are among the unique finds you might discover. Prices range from $8 to $450, so there’s an accessory for any budget.
When I asked Marsha who should wear hats, her answer was a resounding “absolutely everyone!” According to her, “when someone says they are not a ‘hat person’ it just means they haven’t found the right style…and that’s what we do here!” Marsha fancies the elegance of a fascinator, but invites guests to come in, try on some hats, and find their own favorite.
Chapel Hats opens daily at 10 a.m. at Disney Springs Town Center.
