The fabulous Hyperion Theater in California Adventure is named after the street where Walt’s first California studio was!! The studio where he and his brother Roy ventured into ‘the business’ of making movies!!
From a modest studio in Los Angeles to a full scale production theatre of his own Company’s making!! That is where the Disney Bros. first California Adventure began, with the assistance of the ever-loyal artist Ub Iwerks!!
The name Hyperion also appears as the name of the publication company for many Disney books!! Not bad for two brothers from Missouri!! Quite the success!!!
