It’s Autumn, and Walt Disney World Resort couldn’t be more lovely. Our parks – and Disney Springs – are just bursting with new things to do and see. Not to mention two favorite guest events, Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party and the Epcot International Food & Wine Festival, have returned in full force, making this season truly WonderFALL.
Our photographers recently headed out to Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party to capture the event in all its spooky glory in a special set of images.
The Haunted Mansion is a go-to attraction this time of year. Here it is lit up for added spookiness during Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party nights.
Of course, another can’t-miss sight during Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is the Mickey’s “Boo-to-You” Halloween Parade. When was the last time you saw a full-sized pirate ship float down Main Street, U.S.A.?
And new for this year, it’s Wreck-It Ralph and Vanellope Von Sweetz who bring in the candy to the Mickey’s “Boo-to-You” Halloween Parade. Ralph drives in a load of candy corn, while Vanellope bikes in a massive amount of gumballs.
The “Happy Hallowishes” Fireworks show can’t be beat. Available only during Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party nights, this display, which is narrated by the Ghost Host from the Haunted Mansion is so big it’s visible from many points throughout the park. Here’s a view from Liberty Square.
Magic Kingdom Park Resort area guests can spy the fun of “Happy HalloWishes,” too, which can be seen from the surrounding resorts. This shot was snapped at Disney’s Contemporary Resort.
During the day – and early evening hours – Magic Kingdom Park is filled with themed jack-o-lanterns, scarecrows and other pieces of decor that serve as great backdrops for Halloween photos.
During the party, don’t forget to pause and look at the little details, too. Here this tiny statue of Goofy is backlit with the glow of an eerie Main Street, U.S.A.
