While I haven’t had the chance to sail to Alaska aboard the Disney Wonder, it’s definitely on my list of “to do’s.” I have had many friends take the voyage, each time showing breathtaking pictures and sharing unforgettable memories about their experience. If you’re wondering what you should pack, or perhaps what you shouldn’t pack to make room for all of the incredible souvenirs that will be available, you’ve come to the right place. This year, our Alaskan sailings will offer one of the largest assortments of merchandise available aboard the fleet. So what do we have in store? Take a look!
For the main voyage, you’ll find graphic apparel, men’s, ladies and youth apparel, including tees, fleece, performance wear, accessories and headwear. As for special keepsakes, there are plenty to choose from including ornaments, drinkware, souvenir magnets and keychains, photo albums, postcards, a pin and plush.
A few other things to look forward to if you are joining us for the Alaskan season include the debut of several new pieces by artist Daniel Killen, including two of my favorites “Yearly Migration” and “You Win Ol’ Friend.” You’ll find these pieces and more at Vista Gallery, Deck 4, Midship.
Finally, I have just one quick reminder that I know helped me while on board. Be sure to check your Personal Navigator daily as there is always something happening, for example, a trunk show from “Native North West” will take place each sailing celebrating the Northwest Coast First Nations and their indigenous art and culture with a presentation and beautiful authentic souvenirs. It’s definitely something you don’t want to miss!
