For a limited time, Writer’s Stop at Disney’s Hollywood Studios is serving up delicious new snacks. Look for a charcuterie and cheese plate, sugar-spiced nuts and a warm German pretzel with cheese sauce in addition to a selection of specialty cocktails, craft beers and wines. And yes, the Carrot Cake Cookie is back.
Not sure what you’re in the mood for at Napa Rose Lounge? I have a great tip for you, on a recent trip to Disneyland, I learned that you can describe your preferences to the bartender and they will make you a drink tailored just to you! Superstar bartender and Sommelier Ryland (pictured above) made me a delish drink with a Pinot Noir Rosé, gin, velvet falernum, lemon juice, passion fruit syrup, luxardo maraschino liqueur and egg white, garnished with edible flowers.
There’s a new Jungle VIP! To celebrate the opening of “The Jungle Book” in theaters, Award Wieners has a new specialty tumbler and a mango dipping sauce for the Banana Corn Dogs. These offerings will only be around for a limited time, so swing by today!
In the American Adventure pavilion at Epcot, Liberty Inn has added clam chowder soup and a frozen Coke with a float of Buffalo Trace bourbon whiskey. Fife & Drum Tavern as added Henry’s Hard Orange Soda (also available as a float) and Block & Hans has a new craft beer lineup.
Over in the United Kingdom pavilion at Epcot, you’ll find house made crisps (also known as chips) at the United Kingdom Beer Cart. Choose from original or (my personal favorite) salt and vinegar, they’re a great salty snack.
We’re going bananas for a tasty new item at Royal Street Veranda in Disneyland park! These New Orleans fritters are bursting with banana and drizzled with a Smuckers raspberry sauce.
Looking for the perfect Mother’s Day surprise for mom? Bring her to Chocolate Factory featuring Mother’s Day! A fun event for the whole family centered around chocolate, there will be fun specialty drinks for adults and kids and of course decadent desserts. This delicious event takes place at Ariel’s at Disney’s Beach Club Resort 1-5 p.m. on May 8. Cost is $38 for adults, $20 for kids. Reservations can be made by calling 407-934-1470.
If you haven’t checked out the burger toppings bar at Restaurantosaurus at Disney’s Animal Kingdom lately, you’re going to want to. We’ve added everything from bleu cheese crumbles to guacamole – YUM. Or check out one of the other new additions to the menu: a warm chocolate turtle brownie and chili cheese fries.
