Excitement is building at Disney’s Yacht Club Resort as the refurbishment of the Stormalong Bay pool area advances with notable progress. The iconic leisure spot has been enveloped with a network of new scaffolding, signaling the ongoing enhancements to this beloved Disney destination.

Construction activity is bustling, with workers diligently removing old concrete from the pool’s bottom, revealing underlying metal structures. The classic elegance of Disney’s Yacht Club provides a picturesque backdrop to this buzzing construction scene, where new areas are being prepared for future guest enjoyment.

Amid the renovation efforts, the pristine white railings around the pool now double as barriers, giving curious guests a front-row view of the action. Nearby, the edges of walkways and pool sections have been peeled back to make way for fresh concrete work, ensuring the area retains its charming ambiance once the makeover is complete.

Hotel buildings closest to Stormalong Bay have also joined the transformation, wrapped in scaffolding as crews replace old siding and attend to detail-oriented tasks. The improvements extend to the poolside architecture, where bridges and posts are being carefully preserved and upgraded, maintaining the aesthetic harmony of the surroundings.

Despite the ongoing work, the spirit of Disney’s Yacht Club remains intact, with elegant lamp posts and fluttering flags adding touches of magic to the construction landscape. While the pool area remains closed until June 2025, resort guests are encouraged to explore alternative swimming spots within the resort.
