Attention, Disney aficionados! There’s a new enchanting gem waiting for you at the Disneyland Hotel. Introducing the Broken Spell Lounge, a cozy and atmospheric new haven that’s sure to cast a spell on visitors. Step into this delightful retreat, where lush decor featuring a dark blue sofa adorned with colorful cushions, green armchairs, and vibrant greenery sets the perfect tone. The space is brought to life with a mystical forest-themed mural that offers an inviting ambiance for all who enter.

We all know that Disney parks take their food seriously. While Walt Disney World offers nearly 400 dining options, ranging from snacks to high-end dining, Disneyland is not far behind with its unique and delectable treats. Classics like DOLE Whip and Mickey Pretzels are must-haves, but how about indulging in hand-dipped corn dogs or a sumptuous Monte Cristo sandwich? Disneyland’s culinary offerings are as magical as the park itself.

For many years, Steakhouse 55 was one of the premier dining spots at Disneyland Resort, renowned for its nostalgic 1950s ambiance and gourmet dishes. Sadly, the pandemic led to its closure in March 2020, and by 2021, Disney confirmed that the beloved restaurant would not be reopening. The space sat unused until early 2024, when it was given new life as an unnamed lounge, offering a cozy nook for cocktails.

This year, Disney guests were excited to discover the official opening of the Broken Spell Lounge. Themed after Disney’s 1959 classic “Sleeping Beauty,” the lounge exudes elegance with its circular counter, teal upholstered stools, and soft lighting that adds a magical glow to the room. The well-stocked bar and subtle wall art only add to the chic atmosphere.

But what about the menu? You’re in for a treat! The Broken Spell Lounge features a variety of beers, wines, and an impressive list of cocktails, including a Negroni, Scotch Sour, Margarita, and a Smoked Old Fashioned. Whiskey enthusiasts can enjoy specialty flights featuring Scotch, Rye, Bourbon, or Japanese Whiskey. Pair your drink with mouth-watering options like Truffle Fries, Chicken Wings, Charcuterie Pizza, Wagyu Cheeseburger, Steak Frites, or a decadent Molten Chocolate Cake.

The Broken Spell Lounge officially opened its doors on October 21 and now welcomes guests daily from 4 p.m. until park closing on a first-come, first-served basis. What do you think about this new magical spot? Share your thoughts in the comments and let’s discuss!
