The Halloween spirit has certainly taken over the Disneyland Hotel, Pixar Place Hotel, and Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa. Each has been transformed with festive decorations that are sure to enchant and spook visitors in equal measure.
Upon entering the Disneyland Hotel, you’ll be greeted by a colorful mural featuring beloved Disney characters, including Mary Poppins, the Beast, Tinker Bell, and Dumbo. The heart of the hotel flaunts decorations inspired by The Haunted Mansion, complete with murals replicating the iconic stretching portraits from the ride. The lobby mural proudly welcomes guests in yellow, Haunted Mansion-style lettering, perfectly setting the stage for a spooky stay. Don’t miss the eerie elevator doors adorned with decals of the three Hitchhiking Ghosts, adding an extra touch of frightful fun!
Meanwhile, over at Pixar Place Hotel, the Halloween decorations offer a whimsical twist. The lobby showcases a large flat pumpkin display with a minimalist design, illuminated by ground lights that make the pumpkins glow. Pixar characters take center stage, with pumpkins painted to resemble favorites like Mike Wazowski, Wheezy from “Toy Story,” and Sadness from “Inside Out.” Sketch Pad Cafe also joins in the fun, featuring un-themed pumpkins and autumn decor that blend festive charm with Disney magic.
Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa has embraced a witchy theme, with a new display that includes a cauldron, spell books, and candlesticks surrounded by dozens of pumpkins. The highlight of this display is a large mirror with a smokey center reminiscent of the Magic Mirror from “Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs.” On the other side, a photo-op area featuring a full moon and spooky trees with faces invites guests to capture their Halloween memories.
These festive decorations highlight the creativity and attention to detail that Disney is known for, ensuring that the Halloween season at Disneyland Resort is as magical and memorable as ever.
