A recent incident at Disney California Adventure Park has sparked significant buzz on social media. Jessenia Diaz, a 26-year-old mother from Torrance, was arrested after she allegedly failed to show identification to police officers at the park. According to the Anaheim Police Department, Diaz was cited for obstructing a peace officer by refusing to provide her ID.
A video capturing the moment Diaz and her two daughters were escorted out of the park has gone viral, notably featuring one of her daughters crying out “Ayudeme,” which translates to “help me” in Spanish. Disneyland officials noted that Diaz was uncooperative with park security and suggested she attempted to bring her children into the park without purchasing tickets.
Diaz, who shares updates under the username Diaz.v8 on TikTok, countered the allegations, claiming the posts circulating online are “full of lies” and promising to share her side of the story soon. She also indicated a potential lawsuit against Disneyland could be on the horizon. In a follow-up post, Diaz shared a touching clip of her daughters enjoying a carousel ride at a local shopping mall, captioned with, “The worst way to end the month, thankfully my daughters are safe. I would die if anything ever happened to them.”
It’s important to note that Disneyland permits children under the age of 3 to enter both Disneyland and Disney California Adventure for free, provided they are with an adult who holds a valid park ticket and reservation. The story has garnered widespread attention, and multiple media outlets have since identified Diaz as the woman in the video.
