In an unusual episode at Disney California Adventure Park, a woman was escorted out by security for attempting to sneak her children in without tickets. Footage of the incident, which surfaced on TikTok, shows the woman being confronted by security while her children, visibly distressed, called out for help in Spanish.
According to the Anaheim police department, the woman had tried to claim her children were under the age of three to avoid buying tickets, which currently start at $104 for a single-day pass. Park admissions policy mandates that children under the age of three do not require a ticket, although they must be accompanied by an adult with a valid ticket and reservation.
The woman, who had reportedly used similar tactics before, was arrested on charges of trespassing but was later released with a citation. A Disneyland spokesperson confirmed the confrontation, stating that the woman was uncooperative, necessitating the intervention of law enforcement.
This isn’t an isolated incident; Disney parks have faced similar issues in the past. In 2022, a woman at Disney World in Orlando was filmed attempting to pass off an elementary school-aged child as a baby, highlighting a recurring theme of guests trying to sidestep ticket costs.
