Disneyland Resort normally beams with joy and magic, but a recent incident turned the happiest place on Earth into a scene of dismay. A mother, accompanied by her teary-eyed children, was handcuffed and escorted out of Disney’s California Adventure yesterday afternoon.
TikTok videos capturing the dramatic event went viral, showing the woman shouting obscenities as officers and park staff escorted her out. “You’re f***ing hurting me,” she screamed, surrounded by a crowd of shocked spectators. The footage also showed her young children clinging desperately to their mother, crying and clearly distressed.
Contrary to initial assumptions that the woman might have overindulged in DCA’s well-known array of alcoholic beverages, Anaheim Police have clarified the situation. The real issue? She allegedly tried to sneak her older children in by claiming they were under two years old to avoid paying for their tickets. When caught, she was arrested for trespassing and booked but later released on a citation.
This unsettling event joins a string of incidents that have marred Disneyland’s usually cheerful atmosphere this year. From a man jumping to his death from a parking structure in November to another forcibly removed for alleged assaults in February, Disneyland has faced a series of unfortunate events. Most recently, TikToker Caleb Graves tragically collapsed and died after participating in Disneyland’s Halloween Half Marathon during a heatwave.
