Excitement is bubbling over at Disneyland as construction on Tiana’s Bayou Adventure nears its grand opening. The reimagined attraction, formerly Splash Mountain, features a vibrant new color scheme inspired by the round barn in the Magic Kingdom’s queue area. The structure is now adorned in yellow and green, contrasting the brown hues of the past. The construction area is surrounded by eye-catching posters for “Tiana’s Foods,” hinting at the enchanting experience to come.

Recent updates reveal charming finishing touches, including new trees, flowers, and intricate stained glass elements. Notable additions include a green metal structure with yellow flowers and a pink stained glass water lily. These whimsical details align perfectly with the Jazz Age aesthetic of “Princess and the Frog,” ensuring guests are immersed in Tiana’s magical world from the moment they arrive.

The main entrance has seen substantial progress, with the majority of scaffolding removed and new light fixtures installed. Additionally, speakers reminiscent of the 1920s have been integrated into the queue, poised to serenade visitors with tunes reflective of New Orleans’ jazz scene. The attraction’s millhouse has also received a facelift, featuring new roofing, moss details, and a delightful purple banner similar to the one in Florida’s Magic Kingdom.

Elsewhere, the stonework and framing on the rear of the attraction echo the vibrant colors of Mardi Gras, adding a festive flair to the surrounding area. As you explore, you’ll notice various signs promoting “Tiana’s Foods” and inviting curious onlookers to imagine the delights inside.

Anticipation for Tiana’s Bayou Adventure is at a fever pitch—park passes for the grand opening on November 15, 2024, are already sold out. This date will also mark the debut of Bayou Country, a reimagining of Critter Country featuring new shops like Louis’ Critter Club and Ray’s Berets. Even the Hungry Bear Restaurant will transform into the Hungry Bear Barbecue Jamboree, celebrating the themes of the beloved Country Bears.

This enchanting overhaul promises to deliver an unforgettable experience, blending Disney magic with the infectious spirit of New Orleans.
