Visitors to Disneyland and Disneyland Paris have experienced a bit more excitement than they bargained for recently, as both resorts have seen rather unusual incidents of falling lamps.

On September 9th, park-goers at Disneyland Resort in California witnessed a glass lamp cover crashing down in the Pixar Pier area of Disney California Adventure. Eyewitnesses captured photos of this surprising event, which left several Disneyland cast members quickly barricading the area to ensure guest safety. Although the exact cause remains unknown, it’s reassuring to see the prompt response from Disney staff.

Interestingly, just days earlier, a similar mishap occurred at Disneyland Paris. Inside the Plaza East Shop, a can light dislodged from its socket and fell to the ground. Again, the cause of this disturbance is unclear, but immediate actions were taken to address the problem.

Despite the distances between these two magical destinations, both incidents seem to share a common theme of unexpected structural issues. Some may recall past occurrences at Disneyland Paris’s Avengers Campus, where certain buildings have shown a susceptibility to damage.

As Disney fans await further details and ensure their park adventures remain as safe as they are magical, we invite you to share your thoughts below. Have you experienced any unexpected surprises during your Disney visits? Let us know in the comments!
