The Disney community was struck by tragedy this week as popular TikTok star and Disney enthusiast, Caleb Graves, passed away after completing the 2024 Disneyland Halloween Half Marathon. Graves, aged 35, was a well-loved Disney influencer with a following of over 20,000 on his TikTok page where he passionately shared his adventures in Disney and Universal amusement parks.

On the morning of Sunday, Sept. 8, Graves triumphantly crossed the finish line of the marathon in Anaheim, California. But in a sudden turn of events, he experienced severe chest pains, as reported by an Anaheim Police Department representative. It was quickly identified that Graves was going into cardiac arrest and he was promptly transported to Anaheim Global Medical Center, where he was sadly pronounced dead an hour later.

The exact cause of his sudden passing remains unconfirmed, with Disneyland Resort’s spokesperson Jessica Good expressing deep sorrow over the incident. “Our hearts are with Caleb’s family and loved ones during this difficult time,” she told Us Weekly.

Graves’s journey to the marathon was filled with enthusiasm and warnings to his followers about the extreme heat conditions in Southern California. With temperatures soaring past 100 degrees daily throughout the marathon weekend, including a staggering 110 degrees on Friday, Graves shared his concerns about his susceptibility to heat-related issues. He even recounted an episode where he experienced heat exhaustion after a short walk with his dog.
