Spooky season has arrived, Disney fans, and we couldn’t be more excited! While we’ve already dived into the fun at Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party in Disney World, it’s time to shift our focus to Disneyland. Tonight marks the kickoff of the much-anticipated Oogie Boogie Bash at Disney California Adventure, and we’ve got the scoop on what you can expect this year!
Oogie Boogie Bash is a separate, ticketed after-hours event, so you don’t need a regular park ticket as long as you have a party ticket. This bash runs on select nights through Halloween, with ticket prices ranging from $134 to $189. If you haven’t got yours yet, you might be out of luck—tickets sold out quickly!
One of the best perks of Oogie Boogie Bash is the significantly lower wait times for most rides, thanks to the event’s limited tickets. Plus, you’ll get to enjoy exclusive entertainment, merchandise, and mouth-watering food. Guests with a party ticket can enter Disney California Adventure starting at 3 PM, even though the party officially begins at 6 PM and runs until 11 PM. Upon arrival, you’ll be greeted with a special entrance for party guests, where you’ll pick up your wristband and a complimentary treat bag—though pro tip: bring a bigger bag for all the candy you’ll collect during trick-or-treating!
The treat trails are a fan favorite, allowing you to collect candy and meet some fantastic characters, including the debuting Dr. Doofenschmirtz! Keep your event map handy—it marks the villain trails, special character meet-and-greets, and entertainment spots like the Frightfully Fun Parade, which runs twice nightly. Don’t forget to explore Villains Grove, a hauntingly beautiful walkthrough experience on the Redwood Creek Challenge Trail filled with chilling lights and projections inspired by Disney villains.
Foodies, rejoice—exclusive treats await you! Look for special offerings like the Garlic-Parmesan Chicken Strips and Orange Chicken Strips at Flo’s V8 Café and other delectable surprises around the park.
