Get ready to experience the magic like never before! Walt Disney World is about to roll out an extraordinary array of new attractions and entertainment options that will delight visitors of all ages. Here’s a sneak peek at what’s coming soon.
The Magic Kingdom will soon be casting a spell with an entirely new villains-themed land. Imagine two major attractions, shopping, and dining experiences all dedicated to the fiendishly fun Disney baddies we love to hate. “It’s going to be a fearless new vision for what a Disney experience can be,” says Josh D’Amaro, chairman of Disney Experiences. This dark yet enchanting land promises to offer something wickedly wonderful for everyone.
Over at Animal Kingdom, explorers can anticipate a brand-new Tropical Americas land. This vibrant addition includes an ‘Encanto’ ride-through attraction featuring Antonio and other members of the beloved Madrigal family, as well as a thrilling Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom ride. It’s a celebration of stories and cultures that will make you feel the magic and adventure in every corner.
Epcot will also be joining in on the fun with a lounge themed to Spaceship Earth, set to open in 2025, and a reimagined Test Track ride boasting new show scenes and technological marvels. And let’s not forget, Magic Kingdom is introducing “Disney Starlight,” an all-new nighttime parade launching in the summer of 2025. This luminous procession will feature favorite characters from ‘Peter Pan,’ ‘Encanto,’ ‘Frozen,’ and the Blue Fairy.
Disney’s Hollywood Studios isn’t left out either. A new ‘Monsters, Inc.’ land will be constructed, featuring a groundbreaking suspended coaster through the door-line Laugh Factory. Additionally, a new pirates-themed lounge in Magic Kingdom will offer a ‘sea-worthy selection of grogs and grub inside this tavern location,’ ensuring everyone has a taste of adventure.
The expansion of Magic Kingdom’s Frontierland will include two “Cars” rides, and over in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge, Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run will get an exciting update tied to the upcoming “The Mandalorian and Grogu” film, scheduled for theaters in 2026. The future at Walt Disney World looks brighter and more magical than ever!
