At Disney’s Ultimate Fan Event, D23, excitement and magic filled every corner of the convention floor in Anaheim, Calif., as fans were treated to an array of thrilling exhibits and experiences. Presented by Visa, this year’s event showcased the full spectrum of the Walt Disney Company, creating a captivating atmosphere for Disney enthusiasts of all ages.

Representatives from TV, movies, streaming, and sports displayed their offerings, each station brimming with immersive experiences. For example, “Abbott Elementary” delighted fans with “A.V.A. Fest,” offering unique photo ops and customized swag. Meanwhile, ESPN and Marvel celebrated a decade of collaboration by recreating iconic comic book covers with a college football twist, a nod to the playfulness and creativity both brands are known for.

The convention also highlighted awe-inspiring setups from FX, Hulu, and Nat Geo. Fans were mesmerized by the 25-time Emmy-nominated series “Shōgun” at the FX space and were captivated by the eerie allure of the “American Horror Story” franchise. Hulu’s space featured interactive spots for “Only Murders In The Building” and “The Kardashians,” while Nat Geo’s Hexadome transported audiences around the world with its six-screen, 54-speaker immersive experience.

The “Avatar” experience was another standout, drawing long lines of eager fans including Christian Pollicino from Parkland, Fla., who was entranced by the detailed recreation of Pandora. “Walking in, you immediately feel like you’re in the world of Pandora,” Pollicino exclaimed.

The Great Big Beautiful Car Show was a crowd favorite, displaying iconic vehicles from beloved Disney movies, TV shows, and parks, straight from the Walt Disney archives. Disney spokesperson Juan Aldava noted, “It’s the biggest exhibit they’ve done here at D23, one of the biggest vehicles they’ve ever brought out here.”

D23 wasn’t just about exhibits and experiences; it’s a place where stories come to life. On The Red Carpet Storytellers Spotlight stage, Tamron Hall shared insights into her career, adding to the event’s inspiring atmosphere. She summed up the spirit of D23 perfectly: “It’s one of those places that truly as a storyteller, I find just inspiration everywhere.”
