Get ready to feast your eyes and your taste buds! Plaza de la Familia is making its much-anticipated return to Disney California Adventure this fall, promising a culinary celebration that pays homage to the traditions of Día de los Muertos.

The Paradise Garden Grill is offering an enticing menu available via mobile order through November 14. Highlights include the Carnitas Wet Burrito, packed with house-made pork carnitas, Spanish rice, refried beans, cilantro, onions, and both salsa verde and roja, served alongside house-made tortilla chips. For taco lovers, the Al Pastor Tacos feature pineapple-achiote-marinated pork with avocado spread and tomatillo salsa. For a plant-based twist, try the Huarache with soy chorizo beans and seasoned steak tips topped with lettuce, cheese, avocado crema, and tomatillo salsa. Other noteworthy dishes include the Street-style Watermelon seasoned with lime juice, chile-lime seasoning, and chamoy, as well as the Chile Verde Chicken Flautas topped with avocado spread, shredded lettuce, crema, queso fresco, tomatillo salsa, and pickled onions.

For the young and young-at-heart, the carnival-themed treats continue at Boardwalk Pizza and Pasta. Indulge in the Horchata Cheesecake, an exquisite dessert offering finished with white chocolate curls and a hint of citrusy orange. There’s also the Kids’ Meal Street-style Taco, which includes pineapple-achiote-marinated pork served with Spanish rice and refried beans.

Plaza de la Familia will run from August 23 through to November 2, 2024. This year’s event promises fresh updates to “A Musical Celebration of Coco”, offering both returning guests and first-time visitors an enhanced experience.
