A recent incident at Disneyland Resort sparked quite the buzz on social media when a guest had an unexpected encounter with a collapsing table while dining. The guest, who goes by @_mkaydee on TikTok, posted a video detailing her experience, humorously suggesting that Disney should compensate her with lifetime passes for both Disneyland and Walt Disney World.
This isn’t the first time Disneyland has seen such mishaps. Last November, a rusty light pole toppled on Main Street, injuring two guests, one critically. Following this incident, Disneyland Resort vowed to inspect and secure all metal structures to prevent future accidents. In another alarming event this April, a speaker fell into a busy walkway, though fortunately, no one was hurt.
In her TikTok video, which has since garnered significant attention, @_mkaydee didn’t show the actual moment the table fell but instead captured the aftermath. It showed a man picking up the broken pieces while they awaited further assistance. She insists, “Disney needs to call me ASAP! I need a lifetime pass for both [Florida] and [California] locations for the whole family!”
The online community rallied around her, with many sharing their own Disneyland compensation stories. One user mentioned being compensated with tickets for a birthday after a cast member accidentally injured them. Others, however, were less optimistic, sharing less favorable experiences with Disney’s customer service.
If you’ve witnessed any accidents at a Disney park or have thoughts on this incident, please share your experiences in the comments. Your stories and opinions are valuable to us and your fellow Disney fans!
