In celebration of Global Well-Being Week 2024, Disneyland Paris recently hosted two exceptional events to promote wellness among its Cast Members: a serene YOGA by Disney session and an energetic Fun Run 5K.
On May 21, 2024, approximately 450 Cast Members participated in a unique yoga session conducted by master yogi Sébastien Cierco. The enchanting backdrop of Sleeping Beauty Castle under the morning sun provided a tranquil setting, with Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse joining in to elevate the zen experience. The park’s touches of Disney magic were ever-present, especially with the participation of Disneyland Paris Ambassadors Jose Alfaro Navarro and Dylan Legras, all under the vibrant theme of Disney Symphony of Colours.
Wrapping up the week on a high note, Cast Members laced up their running shoes for a thrilling Fun Run 5K. This year’s theme, A Million Splashes of Colour, saw over 1,200 participants donning their most creative and colorful costumes. The enthusiasm was infectious as runners navigated through Disneyland Park and Walt Disney Studios Park, celebrating the spirit of togetherness and camaraderie. The most imaginative and original costumes were awarded, adding a competitive edge to the fun run.
At the conclusion of the race, each participant was rewarded with a stunning medal inspired by A Million Splashes of Colour, a keepsake to remember the day. Christoph Zbinden, head of the Cast Experience team, expressed his pride: “It’s very important for our team to always offer Cast Members unique and special events. Seeing the satisfaction and smiles on our employees’ faces is our greatest reward!”
