Recently, over 30 new tenants were announced for Town Center, the fourth and final neighborhood set to debut at Disney Springs this summer. While I’m certainly excited about the new venues, I’m just as thrilled that my favorite locations will continue to have a presence on property.
Some, like Leather Goods, Portrait Silhouettes and Arribas Brothers have been here for decades. Others don’t have quite as much history but have nonetheless made their mark.
Below are a few of my go-to shopping hot spots – what are yours?
Arribas Brothers: For something truly unique and special, Arribas Brothers gets my vote. Many of their merchandise is handcrafted by gifted artisans – I love to watch the glass blowers perfecting their wares. As someone who appreciates sparkle, I’m dazzled by the Swarovski crystal creations. Though the replica of Cinderella Castle is a bit out of my budget, there’s plenty that isn’t – one of my most prized work possessions is a crystal filled USB drive from Arribas Brothers that makes me smile every time I use it.
Basin: Scent is my favorite sense when I’m pursuing the goods at Basin. Their soaps and bath bombs are always appreciated when I give them as gifts, and I adore their seasonal additions. (Right now, flower soaps are on the shelves, celebrating spring.) I haven’t tried their shampoos or conditioners, but I have friends who swear by them.
Curl by Sammy Duvall: If you love the idea of surf, sun and sand, Curl will not disappoint. Brands like Hurley, Roxy, Billabong, Nixon, Oakley, and TOMS are all in stock, alongside my #1 pick: theDisney and Vans Collection of shoes featuring iconic Disney characters and stories like Alice and Wonderland, 101 Dalmatians and Mickey Mouse. Shopping in this store always makes me feel like a true Florida girl.
World of Disney: With over 12,000 different items, World of Disney – the largest Disney merchandise store in the world – is a dream-come- true for Disney aficionados. From sparkle Minnie Mouse ears to Stitch plush, Alex and Ani bangles to Star Wars t-shirts, the assortment seems endless. A new layout and enhanced signage makes it easier than ever to navigate the store and find the character items you’re looking for.
When Town Center is complete later this summer, we’ll have doubled the number of shopping options for our guests; this mix of old and new ensures that there’s truly something for everyone, making Disney Springs your place to shop!
