Gelatoni, Duffy’s feline friend, is now at Shanghai Disney Resort. Mickey, Minnie, Duffy, ShellieMay and more Disney favorites have welcomed him to the park with the launch of an exclusive new line of Gelatoni merchandise, as well as food and beverage offerings.
In case you haven’t heard of him, Gelatoni is a cool cat with a passion for painting. He uses his tail as a brush to paint scenes of his adventures, his friends and his namesake: gelato Italian ice cream. Gelatoni first met Duffy and Mickey Mouse at the Palazzo Canals in Italy, and they became fast friends after Duffy spilled his gelato – Gelatoni saved the day by using the spilled dessert to paint Duffy a beautiful work of art on his canvas. The pair have been friends ever since.
In celebration of Gelatoni’s arrival, the Whistle Stop Shop on Mickey Avenue has been transformed to include a new line of Gelatoni merchandise and a wide variety of lovable collectible items for guests of all ages. You’ll be able to find everything from home décor, accessories, and pins to Gelatoni backpacks and plush toys.
You’ll also be able to try themed food and beverage offerings such as Duffy, ShellieMay and Gelatoni panna cottas and cupcakes, or an ice cream cone at Mickey and Pals’ Market Café, Remy’s Patisserie and Il Paperino.
