In today’s Disney Doodle, artist Ashley Taylor imagines what Briar Rose (aka, Princess Aurora) would do if she had the chance to visit the Walt Disney World Resort.
In the 1959 film “Sleeping Beauty,” one of the iconic musical scenes takes place in the forest, when Princess Aurora, still in hiding as Briar Rose, sings “Once Upon A Dream” and dances with her forest friends. Ashley used this memorable moment in Disney film history as her inspiration for the “doodle.”
“Disney’s Wilderness Lodge is surrounded by a sea of trees,” she said. “It’s easy to imagine Aurora finding a lovely spot to dance with her forest friends!”
