Splash Mountain

Splash Mountain is a log flume-style dark ride, based on the characters, stories, and songs from the 1946 Disney film Song of the South. Although there are variations in the story and features between the three locations, each installation begins with a peaceful outdoor float-through that leads to indoor dark ride segments, with a climactic steep drop into a “briar patch” followed by an indoor finale. The drop is 50 feet (15 m).

Special Notes

Fast PassThe Fast-Pass allows you to use your park ticket to get a Fast-Pass to return at a later time and not have to wait in the full line. This is a huge time saver. The Fast-Pass will give you an hour time window to return to the ride.	Wheelchair AccessKey for Wheelchair code: Y – May remain in wheelchair or ECV. N – Must be ambulatory. T – Must transfer from wheelchair/ECV. W – Must transfer from ECV to wheelchair.	Height RequirementPersons who do not meet the height requirements of a ride may not ride the ride. This is for the safety of the park guests.	Photo TakenIf there is an on-ride photo take on the ride it will be noted with a yes. You can see your photo at a photo station located near the exit of the ride. This is a great way to keep that special memory of your visit to the park on your favorite ride.

Single RiderSome of the rides have a special pass for single riders. You can pick up the single rider pass from the person collecting Fast-Passes for the ride unless otherwise noted at the attraction. This works great for those rides with long lines! If you are in a group, you will be split up and not ride with each other.	Ride StatusThis is the current status of the attraction. Throughout the year rides and attractions are periodically closed for routine maintenance. They can also be closed for repair or if a major problem has been discovered.	Est.
