Both Walt Disney World and Disneyland Resort are currently facing significant technical difficulties impacting their websites and mobile applications. Guests attempting to access key areas of these digital platforms are greeted with maintenance pages featuring familiar Disney characters and messages indicating that Disney’s systems are undergoing updates.

Visitors to the Walt Disney World website encounter a “We’ll Be Back Later” notification, explaining that the system is temporarily unavailable. This issue isn’t isolated to the website alone; it extends to the My Disney Experience app as well. Here, an overlay notifies users that some digital experiences are unavailable while Disney is actively working to resolve the issue. This service disruption has made it challenging for guests to navigate and access essential digital services, including ticket bookings, park information, and more.

Similarly, the Disneyland Resort website directs users to a webpage featuring Dante from Pixar’s “Coco” with a message stating, “We’re Down for Maintenance!” The Disneyland app mirrors these disruptions, displaying pop-ups that inform users of ongoing technical difficulties which must be acknowledged before further usage.

Despite these hurdles, some areas remain operational, such as mobile orders and park pass reservations at Walt Disney World. However, other services, including annual pass renewals, are currently affected by the outage. This follows a similar episode in September involving payment-related technical issues across Disney’s various digital platforms.
